El ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Enrique Cornejo, presentó una demanda de conflicto de competencia contra el Poder Judicial, ante el Tribunal Constitucional (TC), a fin de determinar la regulación del ingreso de vehículos usados al país.
En declaraciones a la prensa, Cornejo reiteró que dicha competencia depende exclusivamente de su portafolio.
Detalló que también se planteó una demanda de inconstitucionalidad en contra de ordenanzas municipales emitidas por las comunas de Cajatambo, Yauyos y Canta que declaran la inaplicabilidad de la Ley Nº 28325, que regula el traslado de las inscripciones de vehículos menores y su acervo documentario de las municipalidades a la Sunarp.
“El Poder Judicial ha venido considerando diversas solicitudes de medidas cautelares, dentro de sendos procesos constitucionales de amparo, dictando mandatos de suspensión de normas regulatorias y permitiendo así el ingreso al país de vehículos y autopartes usados que exceden la antigüedad normada, lo cual se convierte en un atentado contra la seguridad vial del país”, afirmó.
