| I was browsing though the archives of my computer, and i found some pictures, and those were pictures of the time I spent on The UT (university of Texas) I was the whole 2007 there, I arrived there December 30th of 2006 and I came back on December 24th of 2007 I had problems with my camera the first days, therefore I don’t have pictures of that from those dates, XD at least that is what I say. Anyway Texas was for me a great experience. I meet awesome poeple and I learned a lot academically, not only that but I meet my actual girlfriend, and she is awesome. |
Estaba mirando los archivos de mi computadora, y encontré algunas fotos, aquellas fueron las fotos del tiempo que pase en la UT (Universidad de Texas) Estuve ahí todo el 2007, Llegué el 30 de diciembre del 2006 y regresé el 24 de diciembre del 2007 Tuve problemas con mi cámara los primeros días, por lo que no hay fotos de aquellos días XD, al menos eso digo. Como fuere, Texas fue una gran experiencia para mi. Conocí a gente interesantísima y aprendí muchas cosas académicas, pero no solo eso sino que también conocí a mi novia, y ella es lo máximo. |

| That was my desk during school time. Well now I guess I’ll talk about how did I ended up in texas on the first place: The story goes like this: I was suposed to go with my best friend: Manuel Alejandro, but in the end because of the english he backed up, and he didn’t go. I would have loved to go with him but luck didn’t help then, I had to go alone, by the way I got to go though the exchange program at the PUCP, it was simple i did my paperwork and next time I was on a foreign country. I didn’t have a place to stay, so I was staying on a hostel the Hi hostel there I meet several cool people and some future classmates, like Rox, Rishcash and Boyi they were all awesome in some way we had fun with all of them. but I don’t have pictures with all of them. Ese era mi escritorio cuando habia clases. Creo que mejor explico como es que llegué a Texas en primer lugar: La historia es como sigue: se supone que me iría con mi mejor amigo: Manuel alejandro, pero al final por el ingles el se acobardó, asi que no fue. Me hubiera encantado irme con el pero la suerte no ayudó, así que tuve que ir solo, olvidé mencionar que me fui de intercambio por la PUCP, fue sencillo hice el papeleo y lo siguiente que supe fue que estaba en un pais extrangero. No tenía donde quedarme, asi que me quedé en el hostel Hi hostel ahí conocí a gente muy cool y algunos futuros compañeros, como Rox, Rishcash y Boyi todos eran geniales de alguna manera y me divertí mucho con ellos. Pero no tengo fotos con todos De todas maneras les dejo foto de Rox |
| On that picture it doesn’t look like she was on a diet but she was: She is an engineer and in fact we took a course together and half of the faculty thought we were dating since we spend so much time together and because we behaved like Latin-American but they couldn’t be more wrong we were very close friends and we talked a lot she quickly became my best friend and I studied with her and talked about lots of stuff, we discover that even if we where so different; People always say that I am Crazy, I must be indeed; even then we got along very well and we supported each other on many things intellectually and about our problems too, I still talk to her and she became one of the very few people of whom opinion i care about. in the nex picture we are studying for midterms with Antonius | En esa foto no parece que ella esta a dieta, pero lo estaba: ella es una ingeniera y de hecho llevamos algún curso juntos y la mitad de la facultad pensaba que salíamos por lo que pasábamos tanto tiempo juntos y porque nos portamos como latinos pero no podrían estar más equivocados, eramos muy unidos y rápidamente ella se convirtió en mi mejor amiga y estudiábamos juntos y hablábamos sobre muchas cosas, descubrimos que apesar de ser ambos tan diferentes; la gente siempre dice que estoy loco quizá lo esté; incluso apesar de las diferencias nos apoyábamos en muchas cosas intelectuales y personales, aun hablo con ella y ella se ha convertido en una de las pocas personas de las que me importa su opinión. En la siguiente foto estabamos estudiando para los exámenes de mitad de año con Antonius. |
| Anyway I believe that too much work and no games make marcelo a mean guy XD therefore there was a picture with my pin of free hugs that I gave away because nobody actually asked for some XD I think the only one was either cohen or Patrick XD. But the adventure of class won’t make any sense if I don’t post a picture of how hard was the work on there, and on the other picture you can see one of my classmates sleeping on the lab brench. It was awesome. |
Como fuere creo que mucho trabajo y nada de juegos hacen de Marcelo un tipo malvado XD asi que les envio la foto de cuando tengo mi pin de abrazos gratis que terminé regalando pues nadie me pidio abrazos XD creo que el unico fue o Cohen o Patrick XD Pero la aventura de las clases no tendría sentod si no pongo una foto de lo duro que estudiaba ahí, asi que en la otra foto pueden ver a uno de mis compañeros de clase durmiendo en una mesa del laboratorio, fue genial |

| I studied all week and I had to go out and have fun at least once a month and for that I had my international students friends that are on the following pictures, we used to hang a lot together, The spanish: Vicky and Alvaro, the australian: Felix the chinesse: Ying Ying The mexican: Rox and the Peruvian: me XD. I don’t have to tell that we were awesome on six street (the party street) and Of course also the Belgium: HP and the ecuatorian: Raul, and all the others that if I remember their names I’ll explode. | Despues de estudiar toda la semana tenia que ir a divertirme al menos una vez al mes y para ello tenia a mis amigos internacionales que estan en las siguientes fotos: los españoles: Vicky y Alvaro, el australiano: Felix, La china Ying Ying, la Mexicana Rox y el peruano: yo XD. No tengo que decirles que eramos la sensacion en la sexta (que es la calle de juerga) Y claro tambien El Belga: HP, el ecuatoriano: Raul y los demás muchachos que si me acuerdo sus nombres explotaré |

| I had a good time in texas I went to the rodeo Austin and also to the Space control in Houston. But it doesn’t mean that I had to forget about my family, in fact I made some trips to visit them, the good thing was that my aunt payed for the tickets so I didn’t spend the few money i had to visit them, and I got to see some family I haven’t seen in ages specially my little cousins. | La pasé muy bien en texas fui al rodeo de Austin y a el control de mision en Houston. Pero eso no significa que me hubiera olvidado de mi familia, de hecho hice algunos viajes para verlos, lo bueno es que mi tia pago por ellos asi que no gaste el poco dinero que tenia en visitarlos, y pude visitar a familia que no veía hace años en especial mis primitos. |

| When I was visiting my aunts my sister and my mom came to say hi too! that was so good we went several places and we talked a lot, I realized that I love my mom and my sis but I can’t live with them for a very long time. at least not hang out with them a lot of time. we went to several places in california with my aunts and I went to Las Vegas with my mom, it was good but it could have been better XD. Anyway my mom and my sis are awesome But I went back to Austin once they were gone because I had a lot to do there. Not so much to do in the end I finish the stuff I needed to do and I started going out with Monty (alvaro) Rox, Winnie and Christine. We had a good time goofing off together but after a while Rox had to go back to Mexico, that was very sad for me because I had gotten used to go out with her. Anyway Also I used to go out by myself so it was not such a bad thing, I did many things But mostly cooking and walking, the city is very interesting and it has guitars everywhere I guess it’s time to put some pictures that sort of relate the things that I said. | Cuando estaba visitando a mis tias mi hermana y mi madre vinieron a decir hola! eso fue muy bueno y nos fuimos a pasear a muchos lugares y hablamos mucho, me di cuenta de que no puedo vivir con ellas por mucho tiempo, al menos no pasar mucho tiempo con ellas. Fuimos a muchos lugares en california con mis tias y yo me fui a las vegas con mi madre, era bueno pero pudo ser mejor XD. De cualquier modo mi madre y mi hermana son geniales pero al tiempo tuve que regresar a Austin para hacer unas cosas despues que mi familia se retira. No había muchas cosas que tenia que hacer al final y terminé las cosas que tenia que hacer y empecé a salir con Monty (Alvaro) Rox, Winnie y Christine. La pasamos muy bien entre nosotros pero después que Rox regresara a mexico, salia menos, las cosas no fueron tan bien porque me había acostumbrado a salir con ella. Asi que me acostumbre a salir por mi cuenta, Hice muchas cosas mayormente cocinar y caminar, la ciudad es muy interesante y tiene guitarras a por doquier y creo que es tiempo de poner unas fotillos de las cosas que he mencionado. |
