| I almost freaked out today (15/08) there was an earthquake on peru and I’m away from home!! I wonder is everything is fine there. There are a lot of victims on the small cities and the earthquake was terrible, so far there are some mortal victims and a lot of wounded the situation is critical on several cities among the coastline, I hope everything turn out right. | Casi me muero el día de hoy (15/08) hubo un terremoto en Perú y estoy lejos de casa!! Me pregunto si todo estará bien ahí. Hay muchas víctimas en las pequeñas ciudades y el terremoto fue tremendo, hasta ahora hay algunas víctimas mortales y muchos heridos, la situación es critica en las ciudades costeras, espero que todo salga bien. |
| Well hopes are the only thing that can be expected the earthquake was terrible for the coast cities as well as for the highland cities especially the small towns and the small cities. | Bueno por ahora esperanza es todo lo que podemos tener después de un terremoto tan fuerte, ha sido devastador para las ciudades costeras así como para las ciudades de la sierra, especialmente los pueblos y ciudades pequeñas. |
| the earthquake destroyed most of the old buildings on the capital but that was consider of lesser importance because the news is that the earthquake of 8 on the scale of Richter destroys the 90% of the city of pisco and the 60% of the city of Ica one of the cathedrals the one of the lord of luren was destroyed and it happened during the mass therefore many victims where buried alive on the cathedral and that is not all all the city crumbled and was destroyed, my sister’s fiance was on the city when it happened he told me that while he was arriving the taxi crash with another car and he got out and began to run to the city square and since the lights when out he could not see he used his cellphone to see on the dark and light his path and the most terrible thing he was telling is well he heard a kid screaming for help and 3 seconds later the wall fall down and the kid stop screaming. He had the worst part during the earthquake. | El terremoto destruyó la mayoría de los edificios viejos de la capital pero esto se considero de poca importancia porque las noticias del terremoto de 8 grados en la escala de Richter iy destruyó el 90% de la ciudad de pisco y el 60% de la ciudad de Ica, una de las catedrales, la del señor de luren colapso y esto ocurrió durante la misa, el prometido de mi hermana fue el que la paso peor de mis familiares porque estaba en pisco cuando paso, paso cuando el estaba llegando a la ciudad, el taxi perdió el control y choco contra otro carro y el salio a la calle corriendo a la plaza de armas las luces se apagaron al instante asi que tuvo que correr usando su celular para alumbrar su camino, lo mas terrible que nos contó es que escuchaba la voz de un niño pidiendo ayuda y unos segundos luego una pared se derrumbo y ya no escuchó mas, de los que conozco el la paso peor. |
| But now the city is isolated and the jail walls broke down also many people died and most of the city is homeless now, the road are closed because the earthquake made cracks all over it and also leveled it up and down is now impossible to get there by car. | Pero ahora la ciudad esta aislada y las paredes de la carcel han cedido y mucha gente murio y la mayor parte de la ciudad esta sin casas ahora, El camino esta cerrado porque el terremoto hizo estragos en la carretera y destruyo el pavimento creando desniveles, asi que es imposible llegar con un auto. |

| that is not all the earthquake made a lot of small disasters on the highlands that are not fully covered by the news but my friends that are explorers tell me that most of the cities that work for us as rest points are no longer there one could say they banish at least the houses but something can still be done. | Eso no es todo pero el terremoto hizo muchos pequeños desastres en las ciudades de la sierra que no están siendo atendidas ni verificadas por la prensa, mis amigos exploradores me dicen que que la mayoria de ciudades que nos servían de puntos de referencia se han desvanecido, al menos las casas se derrumbaron, pero algo se puede hacer creemos |
