    1. Yes, I wrote my undergraduate thesis in Statistics, and it was a great experience. The topic I worked on won a research competition at the university where I studied (National University of San Marcos). Personally, it was an enriching stage because the time and effort I invested in its development made me reflect on the rigor and complexity required to work on a thesis effectively.

    2. Yes, I worked with some of the recommendations provided in the article. I had to be quite agile in the development process because writing a thesis involves being open to constant feedback from your thesis committee. Additionally, I conducted a lot of research on publications that could serve as references for me, and as mentioned in the previous point, this contributed to a successful outcome.

    3. Make sure you fully understand the requirements and expectations of your department or university regarding the thesis; keep detailed records of your research sources from the beginning to facilitate citation and avoid accidental plagiarism; seek opportunities to present your preliminary work at academic conferences or seminars to receive additional feedback from experts in your field; and don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it, whether from your supervisors, classmates, or professionals in the area you are researching.

1- Have you ever written a thesis? What can you tell about that experience?

I’ve written two thesis, at San Marcos and Villarreal Universities. To write a thesis is a story of effort, sacrifice and tenacity around a research. A thesis starts since our knowledge on subject. The personal or professional experience can be a very good fount of incentive for researching.

2- Did you use any of the tips mentioned in this article?

Yes, of course. I used a lot several of them. A draft is a good point to start, but research paths indicates opportunities we shouldn’t lost, likewise mistakes we should be aware. Then a first draft will be changed by a follow.

The last part of a thesis we must write is the introduction. Write the introduction before the thesis’s body means a lost of time, due to the information the references provided changes easily, then, an idea we formulated at introduction should be possibly removed. To write the introduction last means to write it without novelties and after finished the thesis.

3- What other tips would you add to the list?

A good research and a good thesis of course find his better support at sources with the greatest possibly diversity. No exists a knowledge discipline doesn’t need of interdisciplinary help.

The diversity of sources can be present inside a discipline. Usually, the information of subject research needs to be find out at books, thesis, journal papers, dissertations, maybe cuantitative calculations or qualitative methods.

About Jorge Brian Alarcón Flores says:

Regarding he says in respect of the thesis wrote by him, my thesis was referred to topics of Administrative Procedural Law, at San Marcos University too. I have a close relation with this topic, due to was the kind of justice process I knew on my first years of professional career. I recall there weren’t national books about this kind of process, and only a little group of peruvians lawyers were interested on that branch of law. Everything changed in later years. My research described several features of this changing process. Like Jorge Brian Alarcón Flores point out, working in a thesis means an invest of time an effort. A good thesis isn’t an easy work but is an exciting challenge.

1- Have you ever written a thesis? What can you tell about that experience?
Yes, I have written two theses: one to graduate at the UNCP in Mechanical Engineering and another for my master degree in PUCP. It was a lot of effort and research on the thesis. Carrying out my two theses was a very good experience because I learned new concepts and theories to use in my research.

Yes, I used some tips mentioned in this article, one thing I needed to learn is about grammar. And the tips that helped me were to schedule and take good notes when we researched the information I had.

I think that with these tips the thesis is very organized and they help us start and finish it very well and there will be no comments when we present it to the jury.

1- Yes, I’ve written two theses. Each experience was demanding yet fulfilling. It involved extensive research, critical analysis, and time management. One thesis focused on literature while the other was in the field of computer science, so they required different approaches and methodologies.

2- While I can’t comment on the specific tips mentioned in the article, I likely incorporated some similar strategies such as setting clear goals, staying organized, and seeking feedback from mentors and peers. These are foundational principles in thesis writing that are universally applicable.

3- One additional tip I found helpful is to establish a consistent writing routine. Whether it’s dedicating a certain time each day or setting aside specific days for writing, having a routine helps maintain momentum and productivity. Additionally, don’t hesitate to leverage technology tools for organization and productivity, such as reference managers or project management software. Finally, maintaining a positive mindset and perseverance are essential. Writing a thesis can be challenging, but staying focused on the end goal and celebrating small victories along the way can keep motivation high.
