earthquake on peru!! // terremoto en Perú

I almost freaked out today (15/08) there was an earthquake on peru and I’m away from home!! I wonder is everything is fine there. There are a lot of victims on the small cities and the earthquake was terrible, so far there are some mortal victims and a lot of wounded the situation is critical on several cities among the coastline, I hope everything turn out right. Casi me muero el día de hoy (15/08) hubo un terremoto en Perú y estoy lejos de casa!! Me pregunto si todo estará bien ahí. Hay muchas víctimas en las pequeñas ciudades y el terremoto fue tremendo, hasta ahora hay algunas víctimas mortales y muchos heridos, la situación es critica en las ciudades costeras, espero que todo salga bien.
Well hopes are the only thing that can be expected the earthquake was terrible for the coast cities as well as for the highland cities especially the small towns and the small cities. Bueno por ahora esperanza es todo lo que podemos tener después de un terremoto tan fuerte, ha sido devastador para las ciudades costeras así como para las ciudades de la sierra, especialmente los pueblos y ciudades pequeñas.
the earthquake destroyed most of the old buildings on the capital but that was consider of lesser importance because the news is that the earthquake of 8 on the scale of Richter destroys the 90% of the city of pisco and the 60% of the city of Ica one of the cathedrals the one of the lord of luren was destroyed and it happened during the mass therefore many victims where buried alive on the cathedral and that is not all all the city crumbled and was destroyed, my sister’s fiance was on the city when it happened he told me that while he was arriving the taxi crash with another car and he got out and began to run to the city square and since the lights when out he could not see he used his cellphone to see on the dark and light his path and the most terrible thing he was telling is well he heard a kid screaming for help and 3 seconds later the wall fall down and the kid stop screaming. He had the worst part during the earthquake. El terremoto destruyó la mayoría de los edificios viejos de la capital pero esto se considero de poca importancia porque las noticias del terremoto de 8 grados en la escala de Richter iy destruyó el 90% de la ciudad de pisco y el 60% de la ciudad de Ica, una de las catedrales, la del señor de luren colapso y esto ocurrió durante la misa, el prometido de mi hermana fue el que la paso peor de mis familiares porque estaba en pisco cuando paso, paso cuando el estaba llegando a la ciudad, el taxi perdió el control y choco contra otro carro y el salio a la calle corriendo a la plaza de armas las luces se apagaron al instante asi que tuvo que correr usando su celular para alumbrar su camino, lo mas terrible que nos contó es que escuchaba la voz de un niño pidiendo ayuda y unos segundos luego una pared se derrumbo y ya no escuchó mas, de los que conozco el la paso peor.
But now the city is isolated and the jail walls broke down also many people died and most of the city is homeless now, the road are closed because the earthquake made cracks all over it and also leveled it up and down is now impossible to get there by car. Pero ahora la ciudad esta aislada y las paredes de la carcel han cedido y mucha gente murio y la mayor parte de la ciudad esta sin casas ahora, El camino esta cerrado porque el terremoto hizo estragos en la carretera y destruyo el pavimento creando desniveles, asi que es imposible llegar con un auto.

that is not all the earthquake made a lot of small disasters on the highlands that are not fully covered by the news but my friends that are explorers tell me that most of the cities that work for us as rest points are no longer there one could say they banish at least the houses but something can still be done. Eso no es todo pero el terremoto hizo muchos pequeños desastres en las ciudades de la sierra que no están siendo atendidas ni verificadas por la prensa, mis amigos exploradores me dicen que que la mayoria de ciudades que nos servían de puntos de referencia se han desvanecido, al menos las casas se derrumbaron, pero algo se puede hacer creemos

For the General will of the people and the justice of that ideal that god defend!!!

Happy 28th of July, I hope they don’t give us a holiday to waste our time but to see what we can do for our country to see if once and foll all we stop fighting among us and we start to change the world, I’m sad to listen that sometimes the guides of the youngsters say that happily Peru is not a technological power, because we will have to change and spedn money on investigation… It is sad because that is what the country needs: creativity and smart people, not to copy and mediocrity, the country needs to be creative and take advantage of the thing it has, we should change my brothers to make a change on the mind of our life and our society to survive, we should stop the fights for scraps of food on the street, to fight for the growing of our people.

We should believe on the values, on the young people, on the inventive, the resources have been depleted, the country has already sold the good things of our country to foreign hands long ago, now we have to raise from the ashes, and like the phoenix we have to make ourselves better, It might be had and it might hurt but there are sacrifices that we should do, a shame that commodity means so much for us… A Shame…

Por la voluntad General de los pueblos y la justicia de su causa que dios defiende!!!

FElices fiestas patrias, ojala no nos den feriado para perder el tiempo sino para ver que podemos hacer por nuestro pais para ver si de alguna buena vez dejamos de pelear entre nosotros y formamos parte del cambio del mundo, me da tristesa escuchar que aveces mentores de los jovenes peruanos dicen que felizmente peru no es una potencia tecnologica porque tendriamos que cambiar y gastar mucho dinero en investigacion… que pena me da pues es justamente lo que el pais necesita creatividad ingenio, no copia y mediocridad, el pais necesita ser muy creativo y lograr aprovechar las cosas que tiene, debemos de cambiar hermanos para hacer el cambio de mentalidad de vida y social que nuestro pais necesita para sobrevivir, y dejar de pelearnos por pedazos de comida en la calle sino para ver crecer nuestro pueblo.

creamos en los valores, creamos en la juventud, creamos en la innovacion, los recursos ya han sido depledados, el pais ya vendio las riquesas de nuestro pueblo a manos extranjeras hace muchos años, ahora nos queda solamente levantarnos de las cenizas, y cual ave fenix renacer nuestro pais del estado en el que esta, Quizas nos duela es una verdadera lastima que nuestra comodidad tenga que significar tanto.. Una lastima…

to train or not to train // Entrenar o no entrenar

Hi there how are you doing, well I have come to a difficult position lattely, you see I have come to realize that I haven’t develop an skill fully yet, and therefore I want to make the most of myself to finish such a thing now I have come to realize that most of my skills are on a beginners basis, take climbing for example, I’m lazy by nature, but rock climbing got me really exited all of the sudden an last year I started to do such a sport which I must say is far better than most of others, the people I have meet on the cave was very nice, helpful and neat, also most of them where very healthy people seldom drink, or smoke at least never while training or when looking for a cliff to climb so those people are nice and all that, but all the same I trained on a regular basis of every other day for half a year I haven’t learned much yet, sometimes I feel embarrassed, for example, last time I went to the gym tried the rock climbing wall there and I tried the easier paths there and I couldn’t do them It was pretty hard and I had such a terrible day, so I decided to go to the movies today instead of going there again, I know I must train and I believe that I’m leaving the train in all the sports I like such as archery and gun shooting, but still I think I must train, I got a routine, but I feel weird to do them on the hall my roommate will crack of laugh but the thing is that I’m kind of lazy actually, therefore i think that that is the problem always just when you star making progress you quit because is hard to keep making progress, I mean My arms hurter a lot today and my legs too, thought they weren’t supposed as well as my back I guess it hasn’t exercised on a while, but somehow i fell that this time I must stand for myself and let myself train I only got one more month free and I’m going to train a lot on this month I can assure that to myself I just hope I can make it. Tomorrow I’ll go rock bouldering to the gym and then I’ll shoot the air pistol they way I need IT might take me a couple of years to become good but I’m going to be extremely good on that I won’t quit again, I’m tired of being a beginner, so what do you think are you going to quit or something or you fell like getting awesome good, I hope you want to become awesome good I would love to have good companions on the run. see ya Hola!! como estan? Bueno me acabo de poner en una situación difícil últimamente, veamos lo que pasa es que me he dado cuenta que no he desarrollado una habilidad hasta el tope aun, por ello quiero hacer lo mas que pueda para poder adquirir alguna habilidad. Me he dado cuenta que mis habilidades se encuentran en un nivel básico, por ejemplo la escalada. Yo soy relajado por naturaleza, pero la escalada me emociono mucho de la nada el año pasado, empecé a hacer dicho deporte que debo decir que es mucho mejor que muchos otros deportes, las personas que conocí en la cueva fueron personas muy interesantes prestos a ayudar y pulcros, además muchos de ellos era muy saludables, varios vegetarianos, gente con índice de grasa que no pasa del 10% ellos casi no tomaban o fumaban, cuando menos nunca cuando estaban en época de entrenamiento o en búsqueda de alguna roca o acantilado para escalar. Bueno, entrene regularmente cada dos días todas las semanas durante medio año, no he aprendido mucho aun, muchas veces me siento abochornado, por ejemplo, la ultima vez que fui al gimnasio de la universidad a probar la pared de escalada e intente los caminos mas fáciles sin embargo para mi me parecieron bastante difíciles y tuve un día terrible, así que decidí ir a ver una película hoy en lugar de ir a entrenar Se que debo de entrenar y siento que he dejado de entrenar todos los deportes que me gustan como la arquería el disparo de armas de fuego pero aun asi siento que debo de entrenar, tengo una rutina pero no tengo espacio para hacerla, es un poco embarazoso ponerse a hacer esos ejercicios en medio de la sala, mi compañero de departamento se moriría de la risa; sin embargo creo que en realidad lo que pasa es que soy muy relajado y cada vez que empiezo a hacer progresos lo dejo porque se hace mas difícil seguir haciendo progresos, Es decir mis brazos y piernas me duelen aunque no deberían como mi espalda tampoco creo que es porque no he ejercitado en mucho tiempo creo que es tiempo de despertar y empezar a hacer mas ejercicio solo me queda un mes antes del inicio de clases y debo de entrenar mucho espero poder hacerlo. Mañana voy a ir a escalar y también iré a disparar para que en unos años sea un buen deportista. Estoy cansado de ser un novato, Así que que piensas? vas a abandonar algo en lo que podrías ser bueno, ojala no lo dejes y te vuelvas muy bueno en ello me gustaría tener muchos compañeros con los cuales competir. I can’t believe that I’m celebrating this date, but anyway I celebrate it because today they release transformers 😀 that is the main reason, that and that I’m in texas and one or two reader might actually try to kill me next time I walk into the shooting range. No puedo creer que stoy celebrado esta fecha pero de todas maneras la celebrare porque hoy sale en estreno transformers 😀 y esa es la razon principal, y ahora que estoy en texas, y facil la proxima que me acerque a un rango de tiro me disparen asi que mejor escribo algo.
well first we will have to talk about the movie… I have waited so long for it, that was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a child and is still one of my favorites… Primero tendremos que hablar de la pelicula… La he esperado por tanto tiempo, ese era uno de mis programas favoritos cuando era un niño y sigue siendo uno de mis preferidos…
now about the independence of the USA. well I must admit this is a great country with many things to do and great opportunities, if we forget that it also has the most terrifying military and has also made a lot of terrible thing to other countries and also is the biggest polluter on the earth and many other thing that americans and non americans compain, this is a nice country, a lot of things to do and see, I like nature more than humanity sometimes I think, because the nature is still there and is great to see, but humanity has it’s moments nevertheless the humanity make more terrible things than natural disasters so I must presume it’s ok. well we must admit that for a country that used to be a colony is doing pretty good, in fact I believe is the one that has done the best, probably on the past they had had great leaders with a plan or something. nevertheless the times and the tides have changed I believe that the american people is loosing their path and the dream is colapsing slowly but it will take more time, I think since I’m not american that people of this country must change their mind and star to think for themselves culture is the only way to stop the wrongs that are on this time. interest has to arrise after all the problems that the government faces are caused by the population that it serves if there is war on Irak is because the cosumption of oil is great, if americans don’t change their mind and become more efficient both in habits and living the problems will not end after all nothing is free remember not even war or help. Ahora acerca de la independencia de los estados unidos. Bueno debo de admitir que es un pais muy interesante y genial, con muchas cosas por hacer y con muchas oportunidades, si dejamos al margen el hecho que es el pais con la milicia mas terrible, y que ha hecho cosas muy censurables a otros paises, y tambien que es uno de los grandes contaminadores de la tierra, y muchas otras csoas de las que tanto americanos como no americanos se quejan, este es un pais agradable, muchas cosas que ver y hacer. Me gusta la naturaleza, creo que mas de lo que me gusta la humanidad, porque la naturaleza es tan genial y siempre esta ahi, pero la humanidad que tiene sus momentos que no negare, la humanidad hace mas cosas terribles que cualquier desastre natural. Pero hay que admitir qeue para ser un pais que solia ser una colonia, le esta llendo muy bien, de hecho creo que es al que le va mejor, probablemtene en el pasado tubieron grandes lideres con un plan o algo, Sin embargo los tiempos y las corrientes han cambiado y creo que los americanos han perdido su camino y ahora el sueño esta colapsando lentamente, pero tomara su timepo, Yo pienso como un extranjero, y creo que la gente de este pais debe de cambiar su manera de pensar y empezar a pensar por ellos mismo, la cultura es la unica forma de corregir los errores de esta sociedad. El interes se debe de lograr despues de tantos problemas que el gobierno enfrenta, y esos problemas son causados por la gente que sirve al gobierno, si hay guerra en Irak es porque el consumo de petroleo es enorme, si los americanos no cambian sus ideas y se vuelven mas eficientes en sus costumbres y no dejar las cosas para despues. Despues de todo nada es gratis, ni la guerra ni la ayuda.

the rule of the best friends… // La regla de los mejores amigos

Come on confess if you are a guy and you had a friend I mean a girl with whom you spend most of your time together eventually you develop some kind of deep feeling for her you start to fall. I was discussing that with my good friend Dianita couple of days ago and I also talk about it with several guys and girls on the past. I have come to the conclusion that it always happens sooner or latter it will happen, unless you are not physically attracted at all, they both have another couple, or they have other sexual preference. But even then my good fellows I presume that is not enough it will happen eventually especially if you don’t take care about it, it has happened to me more than once but with terrible results. The thing is simple, you are friends to start therefore you are compatible he or she does know more about you than most of the people usually more than your family even. Then if we come to think about it the idea to date your best friend doesn’t sound bad isn’t? Vamos, confiezalo si eres un muchacho y tienes una amiga con la que pasas la mayor parte de tu tiempo, a la larga desarrollas unos sentimientos especiales hacia esta persona. Estaba discutiendo esto con una buena amiga mia llamada Diana hace unos dias y tambien lo he conversado con varios muchachos y muchachas en el pasado. Y he llegado a la conclusion de que pasa tarde o temprano amenos claro que no tengan la mas minima atraccion, ambos tengan parejas o tienen diferentes preferencias sexuales. Pero incluso asi mis estimados las cosas pasan en especial si no tienes cuidado me ha pasado mas de una vez y con terribles resultados. El problema es que es simple, son amigos por lo tanto empiezas siendo compatible con la otra persona asi que la otra persona sabe muy bien como piensas y sabe mas de ti que muchas personas incluso que tu familia. Luego si te pones a pensar quizas salir con tu mejor amigo o amiga no sea tan mala idea, o si?
well there is when the problems start, and as diana said, “It is your best friend and you don’t want to loose that special connection that both have if the relationship doesn’t work out good” I respect that opinion but it also makes you wonder if what you have chosen is a good thing I mean you want to have something with that other person and now you neglect your own feelings to avoid a possible future conflict. Then we realized something, if you are friend of a girl I told her: let me get this straight if I’m your friend I have lost all the possibilities to sleep with you? and she told me of course! and I said darn… ( a good thing I didn’t want to do that hehe) but yes that is what happen a complete estranger somebody that barely knows you has far more chances to go out with a friend that a close friend has to even get a kiss from that girl even if she wants that. The rule then was spoken: as long as you are a good friend forget any reproductive ideas. It’s just an advice I presume is true untill people is willing to make the strange sacrifices that we are all subject to do over the path of time, I know that there are some cases when this rule does not apply I don’t really know but that is a common fear to fall for your best friend funny is that by doing so you give more opportunities to a complete stranger funny indeed. Bueno es ahi donde el problema empiza como decia dianita “Es tu mejor amigos y no quieres perder a esa persona especial, pues perderas a ambos si la relacion no funciona” Yo respeto aquella opinion pero tambien me hace pensar si lo que uno elije es correcto, quiero decir que si quieres algo con una persona y ahora lo evitas tus propios sentimientos por miedo al futuro conflicto. Luego me di cuenta de algo y se lo dije a diana: Si eres amiga de un muchacho este mucahcho ya tiene menos posibilidades de acostarse con la mina, ella me dijo que desde luego que era cierto, y yo dije demonios pero la verdad es que un completo extraño tienen mas posibilidades incluso de obtener un beso de tu mejor amiga que tu lo tienes si es lo que ella quiere. La regla fue dicha: mientras seas el mejor amigo olvidate de pasar tus genes a la siguiente generacion. Es solo un consejo y creo que es bueno mientras la gente siga sin hacer los sacrificios que realmente quieren hacer con el timepo, yo se que hay casos que no aplocan a la regla, ok entonces queda el miedo de enamorarse de tu mejor amigo, y resulta curioso que un total extraño suela tener mas oportunidades que una persona que te conoce, respeta, comprende y te quiere sinceramente. es curioso y divertido.

the conflict against law and human desires // El conflicto de la ley y los deseos humanos

I can’t believe it. I’m here checking my computer organizing my files (I don’t do that very often but I really need it) and of course I need some music to keep me distracted sort of, noise works the same anyway, there where the commercials as always ruining the fun and well I’m a weird person, I like to heard the commercials to see if they are creative enough is something I like to do I never knew why, nevertheless I what shock me was an advertisement and it was about a new product released on the market, the product was designed to fool the police speed radar (the laser pistol they use to measure your speed and put you a ticket) and I think that if that product actually works is it legal to release it on the market? I don’t know because it’s deliberated to be used to break a law, the speed law I’m not lawyer but common sense tells me that, difference with for example guns that can be used to break laws too is that guns are in fact used to enforce law too (the military and police) also you can use guns for hunting or to shoot targets as a sport but even then it’s illegal to use those outside a designated place. I wonder when is legal to use a device to disable an speed radar… I think none. well that makes me think if the society is developing on the right direction. No lo puedo creer. Estoy revisando mi computadora y organizando mis archivos (cosa que no hago muy seguido y que necesita) y claro que necesitaba música para poder distraerme apropiadamente , y como siempre habia propagandas que arruinaban la diversión de buenas canciones, pero considerando que yo soy una persona extraña no es de sorprenderse que a mi me gusten los comerciales, no se porque, pero la cosa es que esta vez me sorprendió el lanzamiento de un nuevo producto, este producto es un dispositivo diseñado para engañar al sistema de radares de la policía para medir la velocidad (la famosa pistola laser para medir velocidades) y creo que si este producto en realidad cumple con su cometido, no seria ilegal que saliese al mercado? porque como que esta deliberadamente para violar reglas de transito, yo no soy un abogado por lo tanto no sabría las implicaciones legales pero creo que la diferencia por con ejemplo una arma de fuego, es que estas las usan para poner fuerza a la ley (policia y militares) ademas de que puedes usarla para caceria o como un deporte, pero un dispositivo que desabilita el radar de velocidad no se… Creo que no tiene utilidad. Lo cual me hace pensar nuevamente si la sociedad apunta en la direccion correcta.
I’m concern with that advertisement because it’s weird is an opportunity to make people break a law without any risk, and that law is because it’s dangerous to go over the speed limit! of course the roads and the velocities are planned because of the condition of the roads, for example in Germany there is no speed limit, you can run as far as you want, but on the streets that don’t have any limit there is not even a pebble on it. the obstacles are far more dangerous with velocity, what are the wits on using that? , prudent people won’t need it and reckless people will use that.
I have a theory about it is simple indeed just consider that the more people will use that in order to exceed the velocity those are the reckless people and therefore those will be the ones with tragic accidents on the long run. we will have a huge quantity of people dying on the streets until suddenly al the reckless people and a good deal of innocent people dye then all there will be only prudent drivers and the product will be either forbidden because there won’t be alive opposition and there won’t be interested consumers. that is of course the realistic aim if that product actually works but I have my doubts I think it won’t work for long, anyway that will be fun to see. what do you think heard of that thing on the radio???		 Estoy interesado en aquella propaganda por el hecho es que es raro y es una oportunidad para que la gente cruce las carrereteras con mayor impunidad, sin embargo conduir mas rapido es una imprudencia dado que los caminos y las velocidades estan planeadas para eso, por ejemplo en alemania el highway es una zona donde no hay limites de velocidad pero la pista es limpia de cualquier cosa que podria probocar desvalances, los obstaculos son mas peligrosos en velocidad. cual es el uso de aquello? gente imprudente puede usarla pero gente que no es asi evitara esas rutas. Yo tengo mi propia teoría al respecto y es muy simple, la mayor parte de la gente que obtenga este aparato, comenzara a exceder velocidades y tendrá muchas mas oportunidades de accidentarse y con mas accidentes a la larga. habría una gran cantidad de gente muriendo por esta gente imprudente y el producto sera prohibido debido a que pasen una ley contra él o porque los consumidores no lo compraran. Esto es obviamente el objetivo realista del producto es ese, pero tengo mis dudas acerca de ello , no creo que realmente funcione, pero sera interesante ver como falla, y ustedes han escuchado dicha propaganda en la radio?

hello dear reader how are you doing, I hope you are all doing great, it’s been a while, well not so long though this time I’m earlier than usual I’ll try to make my best to improve that with more articles more often. Hola mi querido lector, como has estado? espero que todos esten muy bien, bueno no ha pasado tanto tiempo esta vez y he escrito un poco antes que lo acostumbrado, esta vez haré lo posible por corlgar articulos mucho mas seguido.
well today’s article is how interesting has technology has become, seriously dude! let me tel you my experience, for example internet most of you might know that internet has quite some time on the run don’t you think and you might probably be on the generation that has seen internet all your life, well I used internet for a long time ago I’m not an elder but yeap i have seen internet for a while, by the way I’m 21 years old so I’m not that old ok? but to prove my point lets see my encounter with internet was arround 199something I think between 4 5 or 6 that’s when I created my mail in yahoo, tha same mail I have been using since those days, I got my account canceled one but I got it back happily about 10 years ago my mail is almost historical for example my mail was given to me by my sister she has the historical e-mail, since she didn’t got it canceled. my mail is maraves@yahoo.com when yahoo had only the .com dominion but my sister has a far more interesting mail I won’t give it to you because is her privacy but she has thenickofmysister@rocketmail.com and she access to it by yahoo, I never knew but either rocketmail was absorbed by yahoo as the youtube now or it was the beta project for the yahoo mail, back in my days the chat was very popular and not the fancy chats with 3D images but the mirc (for chatting not downloading) or the latinchat. Bueno el articulo de hoy es sobre lo interesante que es la tencnologia, no en serio! dejen que les cuente mi experiencia, por ejemplo internet como ustedes sabran internet tiene un buen tiempo incluso quizas tu seas de la generacion que ha visto internet toda la vida, bueno yo he usado internet por un buen timepo, no soy un abuelito pero si he visto internet por un buen timpo, les recuerdo que tengo 21 asi que tan viejo no soy ok?, bueno para probar mi punto les dire que mi encuentro con internet fue alrededor del 1990 y algo creo que 94 o 95 ahi fue cuando cree mi mail yahoo, el mismo mail que he usado toda mi vida alguna vez me lo cancelaron por falta de uso, pero lo recupere hace unos 10 años y ese es el mail que he usado desde esas epocas, el mail de mi hermana es mas historio pues a ella nunca la cancelaron, por lo tanto mi mail es maraves@yahoo.com cuando aun podias elegir nicks originales en yahoo XD y el de mi hermana es elnickdemihermana@rocketmail.com obiamente no les doy mas que el dominio XD lo interesante es que ella accede por yahoo a ver su cuenta nunca supe bien si rocketmail fue comprado por yahoo como youtube pro google o si este fue el beta de yahoomail, en mis tiempos las cosas eran diferentes, no habian chats chvrs con imagenes 3D sino uno chateaba en el mirc o el latinchat que fue tan popular en peru.
when I first used internet it didn’t have to be a pay service so most of the pages were free and the parental control was not even available, that’s why I left using it hehehe, my sister didn’t want to corrupt me, also you should know that in peru there where only 5 or 6 Internet cafes or “cabinas” I had to commute 1 hour to get the place I was affiliated and one hour was 5 soles almost 2 dollars at that time currency. I remember that I took a course on how to use DOS and word perfect, and Qpro have you even heard of them? those are the grandfathers of the common office and I must admit that most of the advanced commands are much the same, but now instead of only one way to do them you have almost 5 or 7, I remember that computer came with both floppy disk drives the 3.5 and the 5.25 inches the hard drive of a computer was huge when it had 250 MB. I remember that I did my homeworks with encarta and nothing else and got good grades on school regardless if I just copied the content, but the teacher couldn’t check because he didn’t had a computer. and then I stop being on the top of technology when things started to get crazzy. I remember when the best browser was either yahoo or www.altavista.digital.com and yes if you didn’t tipped digital it didin’t worked. those time were fun. and now I’m shocked. Cuando use internet por primera vez no era un servicio pay per view y el control parental no estaba disponible, creo que es por ello que deje de usarlo, mi hermana no queria que me corrompiera tan pequeño tambien hay que recordar que esa epoca en peru solo habian 5 o 6 cabinas de internet asi que tenia que viajar en bus por una hora para llegar al lugar donde estaba afiliado y costaba unos 5 soles. Recuerdo haber tomado un curso en como usar DOS y word perfect y Qpro, alguna vez escuchaste de ellos? esos son los abuelitos del office, y debo de admitir que los comandos avanzados son casi lo mismo pero ahora en lugar de hacer una cosa de una forma tienes 5 o 7 y las computadoras venian con las dos disketteras las de 3.5 y 5.25 pulgadas, el disco duro de una computadora era enorme cuando tenia 250 MB. Y recuerdo que mis tareas las hacia con encarta y nada mas y sacaba buenas notas apesar que copiaba mucha informacion pero el profesor no tenia forma de copiar porque el no tenia una computadora, I luego deje de estar en lo maximo de la tecnologia y las cosas empezaron a ser locas. Recuerdo que el mejor buscador de mi epoca era www.altavista.digital.com y yahoo y si ponias la direccon de altavista sin el digital no cargaba, esos tiempos eran buenos, y ahora me sorprendo.
I’m in texas now my mom and my sister are in lima and my father is in cajamarca all in Peru, also my best friends and so on. and I was talking with a friend and he told me that both skipe and yahoo could be used to call regular telephone numbers, I was shocked I have seen that a lot when I first arrived but for me is so natural to just buy a plastic card and dial the number and follow 5 minutes of instructions just to make one phone call, and there I saw call from yahoo, I have my mic and my speakers so I gave it a shot a 10 dollars shot it was amazing I called there and the sound was really good, I realized that the problem with my equipment in Peru is the lack of technology I should update it once I get back but the home phone was great, of course there is still some noise and some lag I know it because of the IP phone transition is kind of slow but still if you speak calmly everything works just fine, and is so cheap especially compared with the phone cards to Peru the rates are quite high but with internet is really cheap 3 cents a minute and 24.9 cents to cellphones, is better to talk to land phones in my country as always but still is cheap compared with the rates of a regular card, let’s see a card charges me 18 minutes to land phones for 5 dollars plus taxes. that means 3 minutes and 30 seconds per dollar and that is 28 cents a minute compared to 3 cents well make your bets what I’m going to use from now on, I even took the liberty to call long time friends and talked with them for a long time I missed them, I will say that is freaking awesome to call a foreign country for so cheap, I might call my friends more often because they deserve that kind of attention, I think the rates are awesome and I thnk that technology is great, it keeps developing so much and I’m so happy with it. I guess that technology amazes you whenever it saves you troubles or money. well see ya Estoy en texas ahora y mi madre y mi hermana estan en lima y mi padre vive en cajamarca, ademas mis mejores amigos viven ahi tambien. Y estube hablando con uno de mis amigos y me dijo que use Skype y yahoo para usarlo en llamadas a telefonos normales, cuando llegue estaba sorprendido porque es muy comun hacer eso comprenderan que yo cuando llegue me compre una tarjeta plastica para llamar por telefono y la tarjetita solo me permite unos 5 minutos de llamada bueno al final vi el sistema de llamadas de yahoo y decidi probarlo, por lo cual agregé 10 dolares a mi cuenta y empece a hacer llamadas desde ahi, el sonido es bastante bueno, siempre hay ruido cuando hablas pero eso esta bien para mi me di cuenta que lo que pasaba con el equipo que tenia en peru es que es muy antiguo, y por lo tanto, la calidad no es buena, pero el servicio es barato 3 centavos de dolar el minuto, y aunque cuesta 24.9 centavos la llamada a celulares es mas barato que llamar desde otro celular o con la tarjetita, pues esta cuesta 5 dolares mas impuestos y me cobran unos 28 centavos el minuto, comparado con los 3 centavos del yahoo creo que pueden hacer sus apuestas a que servicio estare usando en los proximos dias incluso me he tomado la libertad de llamar a algunas personas que he extrañado y es muy chvr recibir llamadas del extranjero, y creo que mis amigos se merecen ese tipo de atenciones, creo firmemente que los precios son geniales y que la tecnologia es lo maximo siempre se desarrolla mas y mas y eso me alegra tanto. Yo creo que la tecnologia sorprende a y te saca de problemas o te ayuda a ahorrar dinero. Bueno Nos vemos gente.
how does tech has changed your life, for me in lot of things, homeworks from internet, class copies from the teacher webpage, research froom my own laptop, msn to talk with friends and now to call them at home or their cellphones, that is awesome. and ofcourse this Blog to talk about things. hey there people how are you doing, well I’ll tell you that for a while My Blog is not going to be updated, the fact is that I’m in the UT at austin and I don’t have my own computer yet. Well things are weird don’t you think, well I’m going to tranlate part of the Blog so I might take a while to have somethings new, there is not going to be a Christmas’s article nor a new year’s eve article (mostly because I don’t recall what i did) so don’t espect them, probably the articles will be from something from here the UT at texas, anyway take care people
and don’t forget, that if you comment I might fell encouraged to post somethings lol		 hola gente como estan bueno les cuento que por un tiempo mi Blog no va a estar tan actualizado, es que estoy en la U texas y no tengo mi computadora a la mano jeje si pues, hay cosas extrañas en el mundo, por lo pronto voy a empezar a traducir parte del Blog asi que no va a haber nada nuevo por un tiempo, ni articulos navideños ni de año nuevo (más porque no recuerdo que paso) ni nada de eso, es mas probablemente el proximo articulo sea de algo aqui de texas, en fin cuidense
