Last year i was using a mp3 organizer and somehow a directory called (artist – album) ” – ” was created.
This was produced because of the lack of album and author in mp3 tags on the files.
Fortunatelly i could resolve this problem. And the solution is to mount the directory, containing this bad named file or directory, and manipulate with an operative system capable of recognize that characters in names of files.
In windows the problem is originated in the way files are treated.
Look this command line for DOS –> delete/erase –
DOS is waiting for some parameters after the minus symbol. DELTREE and other commands should also have the same problem working in shell.
