In my case, if I have written a summary for the MBA thesis presentation, it is very useful to do it focusing on different aspects of the chapters developed in the thesis, it is the cover of what comes later in a study.
Of the advice seen in the video, it is considered very important to make the summary for the end of the chapters, with this you will no longer have to overwrite because you have all the content captured in the thesis.
I recommend that the abstracts be clear and precise, it must have the main idea as well as key words that show what is intended to be explained or developed in the chapters, some main data also helps to better understand the abstracts.

Yes, I wrote abstract of my thesis and now I am totally convinced it is very useful because my thesis juries have read it as the first step of their reviwe task and they feedback about it. Also, it is a true that abstracts are very important for us, when we are seeking for new and relevant information for our academic research task.
Which of the tips given is the most useful in your opinion?
I think the main tips is that the abstract will be, maybe, the only section of our thesis that will be read. So, it’s necessary to write it carefully, under the general instructions (topic/introduction, purpose, methods and findings or conclusions). Also, it’s important write our abstract under the specific university instructions.
Which recommendation would you give someone writing an abstract?
First, read all the thesis or document, because we have to be sure about its content. Second, the abstract have to write when we have finished all the work and writing. Third, review the university instructions and also other resources. Fourth, ask other to read it and mainly the tutor. Finally, be very careful and patient, because reading the abstract may take time.

Yes, of course; I have written several abstract. My most important abstract where made when I was finishing my master degree last year.
A thesis / research job is really hard and most of the times is it very long to read a complete investigation. Abstracts will give support to readers to get a global idea of the thesis.
Which of the tips given is the most useful in your opinion?
I consider read other abstracts will help you to get an idea how to write an abstract and what other people expect to find in your abstract text. A well-consisted page of abstract is enough.
Which recommendation would you give someone writing an abstract?
Keep updating the abstracts before, during and after the thesis is being performed. Abstracts will change several times until get the final version. Make sure follow the instructions or guidelines of the university.
