Teaching reconciliation and social justice – basic concepts and lessons plans

The material included in this booklet was developed by Cypriot teachers and researchers, as part of the project “Reconciliation and Social Justice Pedagogies” that was supported by UNDP- Action for Cooperation and Trust (ACT).

The overall purpose of the project was (a) to bring together teachers from different schools to identify their needs in terms of the implementation (or not) of reconciliation and social justice pedagogies in their schools and (b) to develop pedagogical materials that promote reconciliation and social justice.

The booklet is one example of the pedagogical materials developed; these materials were presented in workshops and teachers have already used them in some classrooms.
