La Suny Press acaba de publicar French Interpretations of Heidegger . La poderosa influencia de Heidegger sobre la filosofía francesa contemporánea es por todos conocida. Nombres de la talla de Levinas, Beaufret, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Foucault, Derrida, Deleuze, Nancy, Lacoue-Labarthe, Irigaray, Zarader, Greisch y Dastur son parte de la eclosión intelectual que produjo el impacto del pensamiento heideggeriano en tierras galas. La creatividad francesa junto a este influjo alemán explican lo que son el existencialismo, el deconstruccionismo, la teoría feminista, el post-estructuralismo y la hermenéutica.
Nosotros en la Pucp tenemos el honor de "tener a la mano" dos profesores principales formados en la tradición francófona que recepcionó a Heidegger , estos son los doctores Federico Camino y Salomón Lerner .
