Inquietudes teológicas

Camaradas, les cuento una inquietud teológica, que les puede interesar y que en mi caso me lleva a confirmar algo que ya llevo tiempo pensando -que Jesús era solo un hombre y no Dios. Estoy leyendo un libro, The History of God, donde básicamente la autora explora como el concepto de Dios ha cambiado, desde la aparición del pueblo de Israel, los cristianos y los musulmanes.

Lo que me golpeó fue esto, el Mesias que los judíos esperaban, y que esperan aún ahora, no era por ningún motivo Dios mientras en el cristianismo lo hemos equiparado Jesús = Dios. El Mesias es pensado como un hombre a quien Dios le da poderes y le hace revelaciones, pero siempre hombre y no Dios. Yo como buen cristiano (?) siempre supuse que el Mesias que ellos esperaban era Dios hecho hombre, que es la versión cristiana.

Pero de hecho, para los judíos en cada generación hay un hombre que puede ser el Mesias porque tiene todas las virtudes para serlo; y si no se revela como Mesias es porque Dios no lo quiere.

En ese sentido, Jesús como Dios es una concepción que toma forma por sus apóstoles. Unos dicen que Jesús nunca dijo que era Dios, que esa es una mala interpretación (tengo que buscar más de eso), y fueron sus discípulos quienes le atribuyeron eso. Y claro después de varios siglos la Iglesia tuvo que inventar la trinidad para explicar la divinidad de Jesús.

Entonces hay otro lío. Los cristianos esperan la segunda llegada de Jesús como Dios, y los judíos solo la del Mesias como hombre aunque inspirado en Dios. En ambos casos se espera cosas diferentes y no hay punto de encuentro.

Pero la que me sigue pareciendo importante es que el Mesias no tiene que ser Dios, y que eso recién surge con el cristianismo

Pero creo que ya me fui por las ramas, regresando un poco al tema, quiénes somos nosotros para decidir si Jesús es Dios o no? Lo único coincidente es que vendrá (como Dios o como enviado) que también para efectos prácticas es casi lo mismo. Por que si se tratá de cumplir una tarea la puedes hacer tú o enviar a alguien a cumplirla. De todas formas es importante revisar los contenidos históricos y deliberar cosa que espero hacer a fin de mes y comentar otra vez. Un abrazo
