Importance of Folk music

After checking some sources of information,  I found in Google that  “Among all the genres of music around the world, Folk music has to be and is the most important one in a society and culture. As the name suggests, Folk is the music of the people. Folk never eliminates people and culture from its lyrics and rhythms. It keeps the people connected to their past and their culture, because when we sing folk songs it connects us with the generations who have come before us as well as other cultures from around the world. We follow in their footsteps and gather together because of our love for singing and dancing. Folk songs are also great because they make it so easy to teach history and culture.”  I

f this is true, we have to analyze how music is passed from generation to generation and the instruments people have used to do it, besides the dancing and typical clothes worn by our ancestors.

Here comes the questions:

In what way our culture is reflected in a folk song?

Is it important to preserve our “pure folk”? What about  musical fusion?

Every society in the world has a unique understanding of music. People made their own estimates and started telling a story with nice words. Actually, the death and joy of the ancestor of music begins with adding melody to his narration. Later, the general definition of this is used as music. The general structure of folk music is known with its event narration and emotional expression. The words and melodies, which manifested themselves in the most intense state of emotions, continued to be used for hundreds of years. The basic understanding of folk music is that it has a simple and understandable story of emotions. The topic is fine and should be discussed with more participants. These days are my words so please add something for you.
