I don’t agree with the author because the finding of Cleopatra’s tomb would be one of the great discoveries in history and would allow humanity to know questions that still exist about her death, for example, it could be known if she really committed suicide with the bite of an Egyptian cobra, her probable physical appearance, her approximate size, etc.
    2. What other famous historical figures have an element of mystery about them? Who would you like to know more about? Why?
I would like to know about Jack the Ripper, because it is an unsolved case, an intellectual enigma was created that people still want to solve so it also causes a certain mystery and amazement, the activities of this murderer were news in the newspapers of that time and the London police never managed to identify the most notorious of their serial killers who spread terror on the streets of the British capital at the end of the 19th century.
    3. Do think it is right for archaeologists to explore tombs and disturb people’s remains? Why or why not?
I agree with the exploration of tombs because it allows us to know the evolutionary process of man as being, it provides a comprehensive vision of ancient man, through human remains, relevant information such as age, type of nutrition and diseases can be obtained as well as it allows to clarify the historical facts.
    4. Do you know of other ancient civilizations that were very successful and then collapsed? Give one example
Of course, the Byzantine Empire began with a progressive impoverishment from being in constant war with the Persians and their last enemy the Ottoman Turks conquered Constantinople ending the Byzantine Empire in 1453.

I don’ agree with the author because I believe that finding the thumb of Cleopatra even if its simple or majestic it will mean that we have found the remains of Egypt’s Queen. The legend around her beauty, intelligence, knowledge of science, languages, and politics goes beyond the remains that may be found.
In comparison to King Tut, he died at a very young age and his thumb is very majestic but from perspective he wasn’t known as we think Cleopatra was while being alive.

    2. What other famous historical figures have an element of mystery about them? Who would you like to know more about? Why?
In my opinion another historical and mysterious figure is Queen Elizabeth. First of all because she ascends to the throne at a very young age and due to the English culture, she doesn’t seem to express a lot of emotions. Also, her actions are always guide by her prime minister. Despite all this, she has been able to maintain herself as the Queen, leader of Great Britain, the Commonwealth and the world for more than 50 years being able to overcome wars, economical and political crisis, and evolutions of the social system.
I would like to know more about her because she is an icon and a model of admiration because in the times were women’s opinion wasn’t considered she figured the way of being heard and take into account in important decisions.

Nadia, thanks for participating. the Egypt’s Queen instead of ‘Egypt’s Queen’. Her actions are guided instead of ‘her actions are guide’, where instead of ‘were’. Keep working on grammar. Good ideas, though.

I don’t agree with the author because Cleopatra is very famous no matter where she is buried. Obviously, finding Cleopatra’s tomb would be an amazing discovery however not forget the significance of his life
    2. What other famous historical figures have an element of mystery about them? Who would you like to know more about? Why?
I would like to know about Adolf Hitler, specifically about his death. It is said that he committed suicide or that he escaped, the truth is that his body was never found. In my opinion this is a great enigma of history.

Maria Eugenia, thanks for participating. Work on your grammar, don’t forget instead of ‘not forget’, if it’s a woman we should write ‘her life’ instead of ‘his life’ You need to extend your ideas much more. Keep participating.
