No. I don’t have. I have read books about different literary genre like auto-help, business, religion, novels, etc.

List some books you would encourage other people to read. Why would you recommend these books to others?

    I would recommend two books

“Evite ser Utilizado” by Wayne W. Dyer. This book definitely helped me to broke many cultural and familiar costumes in which not only others, but yourself are manipulated by your emotions, protocolar actions, etc.

“Grandes casos empresariales – El rápido crecimiento de Amazon.com” by Robert Spector. This book relate the biography of Jeff Bezos and how built the first successful e-commerce of the world. It helped me to get a vision of many business opportunities which come with the internet and also tells you a inspirational story of enterpreneurship.

Have you ever considered writing fiction yourself? What kind of stories would you like to write?

No I haven’t. But after watching these Ted Videos. Maybe I could write a fiction novel about How a man discover the way in which he can understand feelings that domestic animals like dogs or cats have about their owners, and then he uses this knowledge for give psychological therapy to people who suffer of depression.

-Do you have a favorite author?
Yes, I have many favourite authors. But, at present I have no time to read for leisure. I am reading mostly books of history and social sciences to do with my master degree thesis.
-List some books you would encourage other people to read. Why would you recommend these books to others?
Among my favourites authors I may mention Cervantes, Shakespeare, Balzac, Stendhal, Charlotte and Emily Bronte, Dostoievski,Tolstoi, Cao Xuequin, Lu Sin, Jhon Dos Passos, Fast, Katzanzakis, García Márquez, Faulkner, Steinback, Joyce, Roth etc. and last but not least, Vargas Llosa.
I like them because they have something in common. In their works, they explore human nature and how they have to put up with different social forces.
Lately, I´m reading a chinese novelist, Qiu Xiaolong. He writes police thrillers. I very much recommend him. I also may suggest historic novels like “La Perricholi” of Cueto and “Tiempos recios” of Vargas Llosa.
-Have you ever considered writing fiction yourself? What kind of stories would you like to write?
I don’t think I’m very good at writing fiction. Though, I prefer reading them. Some fiction novels like “1984” of Orwell and tales of Asimov
Now, I’m writng my thesis, which is about Peruvian History in XIX Century.
