Yes, my favorite author is Gabriel García Márquez who gave a voice to Latin America for many years. He was the main representative writer of the magic realism. I like to read Gabo´s books because he had a huge talent to mix love, madness, wars, political, magic, death, etc. He developed perfect fictional characters because they are so humans, believable and unforgettable.
Gabo at the beginning of his career work as a journalist and he started to write short stories. I recommend some books written by him like One Hundred Years of Solitude, Chronicle of a Death Foretold and Love in The Time of Cholera. The first one is a masterpiece of how a village became in the last example of modern world with epic, greatness and decline moments, the second one it combines perfectly the eternal themes of honor and fatality, he mixes his hilarious humor with his vivid imagination, the third one is a great love story, he used love as an emotional and physical disease. In these kind of books, you can find a lot of similes and metaphors.
Yes, I would like to be a writer because is an expression of ideas that promote culture and education. I like stories about history, westerns, thrillers and mystery. Also I would like to write nonfiction books about economics.

Yes, Abraham Valdelomar, for his expressions and vocabulary when writing, many of them to the language of the people and simplicity but deeply with meaning in his messages. Because he has imagination and combination with reality.

The gentleman Carmelo and the children of the Sun, I would recommend because it allows us to know the form and life of the Peruvian neo-Creole with its ups and downs of realities and the other book because it reminds us of the Incas era its way of existence.
