28/09/06: 28 September: aLIS Day
Among the many events organised for the @LIS Day, 12 discussion and dissemination workshops are organised in different countries of Europe and Latin America, interconnected via the RedCLARA network, exchanging in real time their ideas, perspectives and results and promoting together the construction of an open and inclusive Information Society.
The @LIS Day is an initiative organised in the frame of the @LIS Programme aiming at promoting the results of the @LIS projects and at gathering energies, ideas and collaboration interests from Europe and Latin America in fields such as e-health, e-inclusion, e-learning, and e-government.
On the 28th of September schools, universities, public authorities, local governments, NGOs, and citizens from Europe and Latin America will virtually gather by presenting an idea, producing a publication, organising an events or proposing any activity related to the cooperation between the two continents in the Information Society area.
All the activities organised around Europe and latin America will be broadly disseminated to relevant policy, research and citizens' communities.

Durante el @LIS Day 12 talleres de discusion y diseminacion organizados en países de Europa y América Latina trabajaran conjuntamente conectados a través de la RedCLARA en el desarrollo de una Sociedad de la Información abierta e inclusiva.
El @LIS Day es una iniciativa organizada en el marco del Programa @LIS de la Comisión Europea, que busca promover los resultados de los proyectos del programa @LIS y fortalecer la comunidad Europa-América Latina en materia de Sociedad de Información, en áreas como telemedicina (e-health), inclusión digital (e-inclusion), educación (e-learning) y gobierno electrónico (e-government).
El 28 de Septiembre escuelas, universidades, autoridades publicas, gobiernos locales, ONGs y ciudadanos de Europa y de América Latina pueden participar en el @LIS Day presentando su propios proyectos, publicaciones, o eventos, con el fin de promover sus actividades, buscar socios o potenciales financiadores y contribuir a la cooperación entre los dos continentes en la Sociedad de la Información.
Todas las actividades organizadas durante el @LIS Day y presentadas en esta pagina web serán promovidas entre las comunidades de investigación y de ciudadanos de Europa y América Latina.

“Hi everybody!
We are very happy to announce that we are starting the project ‘Free Culture in Argentina’ [http://www.librecultura.org] in two weeks. The initiative is part of the efforts of the NGO Bienes Comunes [http://www.bienescomunes.org] and people from the communities of Creative Commons in Argentina and the Free Software movement.
Three weeks ago I presented the initiative in ‘Crisol’ [http://www.crisolargentina.org.ar/], an important event of free software with the support of the ‘National University of La Plata’, people from ‘Software Libre of Argentina’ [Solar: http://www.solar.org/] and from UTUTO [https://www.ututo.org/ a GNU project].
If somebody is interested to collaborate in the local iniciative [in spanish or english] just write me an e-mail. Thanks!

La iniciativa es parte de los esfuerzos de la ONG Bienes Comunes [http://www.bienescomunes.org] y de gente de las comunidades de Creative Commons en la Argentina y del movimiento del Software Libre.
Tres semanas atrás presenté el proyecto y la iniciativa en ‘Crisol’ [http://www.crisolargentina.org.ar/], un evento importante de software libre que contó con el soporte de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, gente de Software Libre Argentina [Solar: http://www.solar.org/] y de UTUTO [https://www.ututo.org/ un proyecto de GNU].
